Happy New Year

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EACH OF YOU!!

It seems since I started this blog, I have made many promises to write more and devote more time here, but I am not making that resolution today. I do have full plans to be here more often though. I may even start a new blog dedicated more to my reading than to the life here on the farm.

Farm life has changed quite a bit since I started this and it makes writing here a bit more difficult, but I will find things to share here that deal with farm life and I will be making more posts about things we are doing as well. We still have a few animals, but not as many as we have had in the past. With both girls out of the house and living their own lives and my husband and I aging, animals are not as easy to care for as they were a few years ago.

I hope every one has a fabulous start to 2022. I will be having surgery in 11 days and I am stressed over it because I will be off my feet again for several months and I feel so helpless and know that so many things will not be done when I need them completed. I am thankful that our youngest daughter lives next door and that I am able to count on her more than I would like too.

I have a lot to do today and so this is going to be short, but tomorrow I intend to recap some of our 2021 adventures.

  3. Happy to see a post from you. I, too, keep promising myself to blog more often. This last year or so has certainly taken its toll on life and my energies have been focused in other directions. Have a wonderful 2022. Hugs-Diana
