Good Morning! Happy President's Day to all my American friends!!   This is a day that we celebrate George Washington's birthday. Many of you are off work today due to it being a national holiday as well as banks and post offices being closed.  I was unable to post last week as I simply ran out of time due to appointments and my Pink Zebra business. I did not even get to read any of the posts, so I am hoping that I have time to go back through most of them this week as it is not quite as full of a week. Recovery from surgery is going as expected and I have a follow up later this morning. For those that are not aware of what Happy Homemaker posts are please take a look at Sandra's  blog  and read what the excitement is about.    :::: The Weather :::: Well, we are on quite a roller coaster of temperatures for the week. We are to get to 61 degrees today and have snow on Thursday. How crazy is that! Yesterday it was sunny and in the mid 50's, which I enjoyed greatly. I nee

An Outing

Oh the joys of being able to be out of the house and among living, breathing people is fabulous! Yes, I was able to leave the house two days this week. I left on Tuesday and Wednesday and it felt great. The weather was cooperating and my foot was not bothering me so I left. My youngest daughter and I went to my older daughters' house on Tuesday to drop off my youngest grand doll so that she could spend some time with her aunt and uncle. While we were there, we went into town and done some shopping- Goodwill and Dollar Tree. I forgot to get photos of my purchases though.  I enjoy my time with both of my girls and its nice to share some time with them together. They have very different personalities and really are not as close as they should be. I hope that at some time they find a way to get much closer. They are both such sweet young ladies and the older one just found her way in life a little better than the other one. Since I don't have much today. I will share a sunrise pho

Hello everyone! Sorry that I am so late to join this week, but recovery has sure been tough with this surgery. I have been at my daughter's house much longer than I expected to be and so I am trying to run my business and three households all away from home. UGH! It is crazy!! Anyway, let's get started with our Happy Homemaker post today. If you aren't aware of what this is, check out Sandra's post  here .                                                   :::: The Weather :::: I  must say that I would like it to be warmer and sunnier than it is. We survived the winter storm last week, but we still have plenty of snow on the ground and it is just cold today and cloudy outside. The temperatures are to be a bit better this week and the sun is to shine some, so I hope it is better tomorrow. :::: How I am feeling this morning :::: I am feeling okay considering all I have been through recently with my surgery. I have my next follow up appointment on Thursday and it will be

Snow Storm

Well, I realize that the weather is crazy all over the country right now,  but I will tell you that Indiana is getting heavy snow at the moment. I am more northern Indiana at the moment. At home, they are getting rain currently, but they are predicted to get snow in the wee hours of tomorrow morning. We got some rain, freezing rain, and snow. I will be praying for each of you to stay safe wherever you are in the universe. As a side note, I was able to pick up a few of the free N 95 masks that the government is giving away free yesterday at Meijer when we picked up by prescriptions. I was supposed to go to the podiatrist tomorrow, but they called today and said they would be closed. They made a temporary appointment for Friday, but not sure that will happen either.  I am thinking I will go home mid week next week as my daughter has plans next weekend and she has a trip planned for the following week. I don't really want to stay by myself, if I can get home. I have a knee scooter no
