Happy Homemaker Monday On The Farm

Can you believe tomorrow is Christmas Eve? I sure can't! The holiday season has flown by and I have not been to see a light display or anything yet and it deeply upsets me! I am so disappointed that no one seems to care that this is a tradition that I done with my grandparents and want my grand doll to share with me. My husband seems to always have someplace we need to go of an evening. It really just makes me wish for more time for things that I enjoy.

Presents are wrapped and other than a few things to finish up, we are done with all of the shopping. I need to go to the grocery store tonight to buy a few things. We are having lunch with my son and his future wife today and exchanging gifts. Since I wanted a simple day, I made broccoli cheese soup! I will make my husband venison steaks as he does not like the soup.
The Weather Outside Is:

Sunny and nice. We still have some snow on the ground, but I am sure it will all be melted by Wednesday as we are to be at record temperatures this week. I don't like it as far as I prefer snow flakes on Christmas day, but I don't mind it not being cold.

On The Breakfast Plate:

A cup of Sugar Cookie coffee and now I am having Sugar Plum tea.

Right Now I Am:

Writing this post while the grand doll is playing with our dogs and watching Bubble Guppies.

As I Look Around The House:

I have swept, mopped, and dusted this morning as well as cleaned some of the clutter from the weekend. I still have things I need to take care of and I need to paint our hallway. I might start that this weekend.  I am enjoying my Christmas décor!

My To Do List:

Finish wrapping presents, buy a couple of stocking stuffers, place gifts under tree and enjoy today, tomorrow and Wednesday.

Menu:

Our Menu is not planned for the week, but I will give you some ideas.
Monday:  Ribeye Steaks, Baked Potatoes
Tuesday: Pork Roast with Balsamic glaze , cheesy potatoes
Wed: Ham, Pizza, and chips
Thurs: Low Carb Hamburger Soup
Fri.: No Idea

Currently Reading:

Nothing, because I just do not have time currently. I am trying to catch up on reading your blogs.

On TV This Week:

I have some Christmas movies that I want to watch that I have recorded. I also want to watch Mary Poppins.

In The Craft Basket:

I am going to try to make some doll clothes for the grand doll to be able to dress her dolls.

Prayers or Inspiration:

This video of my friend, Buddy Mullins, singing I Shall Wear A Crown.

Buddy was raised traveling with his family while his dad was an evangelist. Buddy has grown into an extremely talented musician, song writer, and enjoys singing with his family. He has followed his dad's footsteps by working with Hope For The World and doing missions work overseas.
Here is another one for you to enjoy as well. Buddy singing Mary, Did You Know?

Enjoy! Merry Christmas to each and every one of you and your families!
