Happy Homemaker Monday - Dec. 16 - On The Farm

Well I am missed writing this one since it is getting late and I have been busy! I really don't know where the day has gone, but I will attempt to get this written today and I will hopefully, be able to do another post tomorrow. I have a lot to share, but I will just get to the post now.

Please join me as I link up with Sandra of Diary of a

Happy Homemaker Monday! 💗

Right Now I Am....

Writing this post and listening to my husband's stupid YouTube videos that he is watching. I have the television on a Hallmark movie, but can't hear it because of his phone. I hate my computer being in the dining room, when he is home at least.

On The Breakfast Plate...

Today was smoked sausage and French toast. It was quite delicious!

The Weather _ Outside My Window...

Nasty! It snowed last night and then we had freezing rain and more snow today. It is dark so I can't tell if it is snowing now or not. We are supposed to get another 2-4 inches tonight.

On The Reading Pile...
I am still not finished with my Christmas book as I have just been too busy. I have been doing other things, but I will finish it.

On The Menu This Week...
Monday - Beef Stew and Cornbread
Tuesday - Low Carb Cheeseburger Soup
Wednesday - Grilled Chicken with Basil Garlic Seasoning, Oven Roasted Potatoes, Green Beans
  Thursday - Cheeseburgers and Fries
  Friday - No idea!

In The Craft Basket...

I am going to be working on some doll clothes for my grand doll. She likes to lose her Barbie clothes and so I am going to make some.

Looking Forward To...
Finishing up the Christmas shopping and enjoying some evenings of going to see Christmas lights and other fun things. I need to get my grand doll to see Santa this week if possible.

From The Camera ...

Our view outside the back window this morning. I love this pine tree in the winter time just because it makes for beautiful pictures!

  1. You sound busy and a bit frustrated with all you have on your plate.
    Life does get complicated sometimes.
Your GrandDoll will adore her new Barbie clothes.
I doubt I will get to many Christmas cards this year...I guess I am getting lazy in my old age.
Last minute shopping here too and we are still plugging away at eBay selling. It sure takes a lot of my time doing it.
The weather here is gray and blah today. Temps in the high 30's but no frost this morning. We don't get snow here but the mountains 2 hours away are going to get a bunch more this week.
Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas.

    1. Sue, I will admit that I get a little frustrated with all that I do. I feel as though I never stop. I never get my to do list finished and I rarely seem to find time to do anything I enjoy at the moment.
I am not doing many cards this year either.

  2. What a delightful post and full of A LOT! You are one busy woman. It seems to be coming awfully fast here, doesn't it? I'm just not ready either!

    1. Yes, too fast. I am no where near ready for the holiday and it will be here in a week. UGH!

  3. As I scrolled down the comments, I stopped and thought, "I don't remember commenting. Did I say something?" and then realized it was a comment by "Jeanie" with one "n". I think I am losing my mind sometimes. So, I, Jeannie (with 2 n's), have nothing important to say, other than...I'm glad I'm not losing my mind.

PS: Wish we had a little of your snow.

  4. You have been busy. I have tried making Barbie clothes in the past...very fiddly...hope that it went well. Your granddaughter will love them. Have a blessed holiday season...hope that it is time for relaxing until the final baking and preparations.
