It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

Hello! Welcome Monday Morning! I have decided to take part in It's Monday! What Are You Reading? hosted by Kathyrn at Book Date. I recently discovered her blog by reading another friend's blog, Collettas Kitchen Sink. I highly recommend that you stop by both of these for anything literature related.

Now, I have never read books and got paid to review them or get free books to review, but it would be an awesome thing to do as I thoroughly enjoy reading most books. Some I find that I am just not interested in, but usually can read it anyway.

This week, I am reading The Favorite Daughter by Patti Callahan Henry. It's an interesting read that deals with reflection, forgiveness, and has plenty of twists. Lena Donahue has experienced a betrayal that is almost unimaginable, but finds a way to move on and finally after much soul searching discovers what home truly means.
I got this from the library so it should be easy to locate it and I personally, have never read anything else by this author, but I am intrigued to see what other books she has available.

    1. No, I am not retiring yet. I have more years to work before I hit the age to retire.

  5. I just finished the book "Where the crawdads grow". I loved it! Haven't read for a while and it felt good to get back at it. I need a new book to read. I'll give this a try.
