Fall Reading Challenge

Fall is around the corner and as I was working to catch up on reading all of the work that other blogs have done, I found a challenge that I am going to be joining. Colletta, from Colletta's Kitchen Sink has started a Fall Reading Challenge that I am taking part in. Here is the link to her page about the challenge. I would encourage all of you to take part in this.

The reading challenge will begin September 1st and run through Nov. 30th. You will decide how many book you want to read and what books. There are rules listed on her page and I highly recommend that you read them carefully and follow them.

For my part in this challenge, I will say that I will read 6 books and I will attempt to leave a review for each one. I am not choosing the books yet, as I believe that I will just freestyle this competition based on what I feel like reading at the time. I would love it if you would join me! Nothing better on a cool fall evening than sitting with a cozy blanket, a cup of cocoa, and a good book!

Will you be joining me? Please let me know!

  2. Sounds like a great idea but I am not up to challenges I don't have to do! I do love to read, though, and keep a book going at all times. I hope you will tell us about your group....I would like to do that sometime. I've always wanted to be in a book club. Did you see the movie The Book Club?

    1. I am finding that I make time to read or I don't have the time either. Farm life is a busy life, but I am waking up early to read.

  5. I always have good intentions to do a reading program but somehow it just sort of fades away.
I used to be an avid reader...don't know what happened...Guess I'm just getting old and the brain is a bit more tired.
I will do good if I can just finish the two I have started a month ago...(:0)

  6. I chose to do 5. I think 5 or 6 is a good amount for me. Excited to see which books you decide on.

    1. I chose 5 as well. I find that my time is limited to read in the fall, so no sense in over planning.
