NATIONAL FROZEN YOGURT DAY

Frozen Yogurt Day was the most fun of the choices for today's first question.  I have no idea why the creator chose a winter day to celebrate a frozen dessert, but here we are!!  Let's talk about food today (one of my favorite subjects)!
1.  Today, Wednesday, February 6th, is Frozen Yogurt Day!  A cold dessert on what must be a very cold day for most of you reading this today!  Do you enjoy frozen yogurt?  Does it matter what the weather is?  Share with us your favorite flavor and/or topping, please!!  I don't really like frozen yogurt, but will eat it before I will eat regular yogurt. 
2.  What food do you know you shouldn't eat but can't help yourself?  Chocolate ice cream, Oreo's, and pasta
3.  If your life was a meal, what kind of meal would it be?  Some kind of comfort food- roast and potatoes, beef and noodles.
4.  Do you like spicy food?  Why or why not?  What is the spiciest food you have ever eaten?  I don't care for spicy food. I like certain things to have a little spice to them, but I don't want my mouth burning. The spiciest was a meal that I got once at a restaurant. Wow was it hot!!!
5.  What food do you eat or crave when you have a bad cold? I don't know of any food, but I always want hot tea when I have a cold or I am sick. 
6.  Please tell us something random about your week (and maybe it will involve food).  We ate at Ruby Tuesday's for lunch that day with a dear friend that recently lost her husband. He was like a dad to my husband. It was her first time there and she loved it! She insisted that she pay and it could be our anniversary dinner. It was nice. We came home and rested and then watched the game.

 As I was looking through my posts today, I see that I have failed my readers. Many of you were aware that my other daughter was pregnant and going to deliver in July, I am sure those of you that knew are wondering why I never posted about that and I must say that life has just gotten in the way, and I thought that I had written a post. Since I know I did not, I will now! He came when Mamaw was out of town! Can you believe that? He actually had the nerve to do something so ridiculous as to come while I was at the Pink Zebra reunion (our annual conference). I was with four of my best friends when we got the announcement that he was here! I was so happy that I was able to share that news with them before anyone else. Of course, the leaders of the company were there and anxious to hear how she was doing as well.  Deliver went fairly smooth, but she was in labor for quite a while. Something is Falling From The Sky

 Yesterday and today have been very cool days here on the farm and I must say that something that we don't recognize has been falling from the sky. It is wet and seems to be hanging around. IT is certainly what the ground needed as it seems to have soaked it up almost immediately. Rain, glorious rain!! The ducks are loving their pool and the rain, but I truly don't think that they are liking the cooler temperatures so much. I know I am not. I don't mind cool, but wearing my sweatshirt in June is not fun.  The white turkeys are enjoying the coop that my husband put together for them. We have 5 of them and two others. We won't be keeping all of the toms as we have too many.  Nesting boxes made of milk crates that we had lying around work well attached to the back wall.  Here is Tom.  Hello! Welcome to my first Happy Homemaker Monday post for 2024. I am happy to join Sandra at  Diary of A Stay At Home Mom  to participate in this series. How has everyone's Monday morning been so far? Mine is slow as most Mondays, but I will be busy later. I really need to work on my direct sales business and get my inventory done for the year. Taxes will be soon and I need that information.  The Weather: The weather is predicted to be a little unsettled this week with periods of rain and snow throughout the week. Daytime highs in the 30's and 40's, which is a bit above average with lows in the upper 20's and lower 30's. Not too bad for this time of the year. I hate the rain as it just makes the farm a muddy, sloppy mess.  Right Now I Am: Sitting at my desk listening to the news and writing this post.
