Zebras United

On Sunday morning, my daughter and I will be heading out to our Pink Zebra Reunion. For anyone that doesn't know, Pink Zebra is a home fragrance company that we both sell for. I would love to tell you more about it and share some samples with you if interested. You can send me a quick email here.

Anyway, we are headed to Louisville, KY and will be surrounded with many zeebs from across the United States and Canada. I am thrilled to finally be meeting my leader as I have been a part of her team for over 2 years and never had the opportunity to meet her. I am also excited to meet Tom and Kelly, the founders of the company. It should be encouraging and confidence building to say the least.

I am hoping to come home with so many new ideas to share with my team and ways to encourage them to sell more and earn more. After all, we all love the products so sharing is really no issue. I am thrilled to be attending this event!!

 I am hoping to make a trip to wherever the incentive trip is next year as well. I know it will be someplace exciting and one huge party! I am thrilled to be a part of a company that truly cares about their consultants and team members. My goal for my business is that I become a manager next and then keep going from there.

 As I was looking through my posts today, I see that I have failed my readers. Many of you were aware that my other daughter was pregnant and going to deliver in July, I am sure those of you that knew are wondering why I never posted about that and I must say that life has just gotten in the way, and I thought that I had written a post. Since I know I did not, I will now! He came when Mamaw was out of town! Can you believe that? He actually had the nerve to do something so ridiculous as to come while I was at the Pink Zebra reunion (our annual conference). I was with four of my best friends when we got the announcement that he was here! I was so happy that I was able to share that news with them before anyone else. Of course, the leaders of the company were there and anxious to hear how she was doing as well.  Deliver went fairly smooth, but she was in labor for quite a while. Something is Falling From The Sky

 Yesterday and today have been very cool days here on the farm and I must say that something that we don't recognize has been falling from the sky. It is wet and seems to be hanging around. IT is certainly what the ground needed as it seems to have soaked it up almost immediately. Rain, glorious rain!! The ducks are loving their pool and the rain, but I truly don't think that they are liking the cooler temperatures so much. I know I am not. I don't mind cool, but wearing my sweatshirt in June is not fun.  The white turkeys are enjoying the coop that my husband put together for them. We have 5 of them and two others. We won't be keeping all of the toms as we have too many.  Nesting boxes made of milk crates that we had lying around work well attached to the back wall.  Here is Tom. Happy Homemaker Monday - 1/8/24

 Hello! Welcome to my first Happy Homemaker Monday post for 2024. I am happy to join Sandra at  Diary of A Stay At Home Mom  to participate in this series. How has everyone's Monday morning been so far? Mine is slow as most Mondays, but I will be busy later. I really need to work on my direct sales business and get my inventory done for the year. Taxes will be soon and I need that information.  The Weather: The weather is predicted to be a little unsettled this week with periods of rain and snow throughout the week. Daytime highs in the 30's and 40's, which is a bit above average with lows in the upper 20's and lower 30's. Not too bad for this time of the year. I hate the rain as it just makes the farm a muddy, sloppy mess.  Right Now I Am: Sitting at my desk listening to the news and writing this post.
