Festival Of Trees - Part 2
This festival of trees is located with a county history museum in a location near us. Each year, the grands and I attend because we enjoy the festive decorations and getting to vote for our favorite tree. Yesterday's post I shared the bottom floor of the museum and all of the decorated trees there, now it is time for the showcase of trees that we were able to vote on.
This is the second story of the museum and they turn it into a winter wonderland full of trees.
This tree was designed by a local garden club, and they are called the Garden Gnomes, so fittingly enough the tree was filled with gnomes.
This tree was decorated with the county courthouse employees in mind. I did not get the full story on it, but such a unique tree.
This tree was all Grinch and Whoville. I love the way the red berries at the top almost look like a bow when you look at it from a distance.
This was from the Hope Gallery. It contains photos of the many craftspeople that showcase their arts there. This one has so much meaning behind it.
America celebrates 250 years was the theme to this tree by Festival Country. Since their office is located in the town where the museum is and this red, white, and blue truly was a patriotic celebration.
Just a look at some of the many trees. In the background, you can see the lights from the train tunnel that was the entrance to the room.
Another Artcraft tree for the competition this year that showcases their popcorn as the tree topper. You will see tickets, popcorn, and candy as the ornaments.
I wish I could remember what company this tree was from. Being that I am a book lover, I appreciated this tree a great deal.
This was Franklin College tree. Lots of blue and gold! Go Grizzlies!! Does anyone remember the actress Majorie Main (Ma Kettle)? She was a theatre major and graduated from Franklin.
Tri Kappa knows how to catch the kid's attention. Lilo and Stitch made for such a cute tree. All the decorations were these two characters.
My daughter loved this tree! It was titled " Whisking You A Merry Christmas". I thought these gingerbread decorations were super cute because it honored grandmas. This tree was all about baking, with cookbooks lining the bottom of it. The gingerbread bow and the apron finished the look!
Did you notice this recipe card that I captured in this photo?
This is the area where Santa sits when he makes his visit from the North Pole.
Super cute display with a nice list posted.
These were the voting boxes.
