This image is from Google Images, but I thought that it was too cute to not share. I use Google Images often with my Pink Zebra business and so I thought that I would use one here today as well. I have not taken many photos recently as I have been busy with my Pink Zebra business. 


I want to thank each of my readers for the many years that you all have supported me and my family in the blog world. I have never made money from my blog, but I would like too. I just am not sure that I want to open it to the crazy money world. I like that it is still personal and a family blog, so I will just keep things the way that they are now. 


Life seems to get in the way of writing so many times these days, but I don't want to give up as I love my blogger friends, so although I may not be here often, I have decided that I am going to keep this up for now and I am going to do my best to continue to keep you all in the know with what is going on. I may move away from the farm stuff and write more about life in general and keep these more as a way to connect with my friends. Our lives have changed over the past few years and we are just not doing as much farm stuff as we have in the past. I love our life here and I can't imagine living anywhere else, but I also just don't feel that we do enough to continue to attempt to do only farm related items here. 


I will continue to read as many of your posts as I can and I will continue to be a huge fan of many of you as well. Some have actually become more than just bloggers, but ladies that I consider friends.

    You scared me at first; I thought you were saying good-bye. I considered quitting many years ago, till someone mentioned that I would lose all my followers. So I just couldn't do it. And I am so glad I stayed on!

    I'm glad that you aren't planning on giving up the blog. I've never made money with mine either but then I do it for fun and to keep my mind working. I've never tried to stick to just one subject either. I just go wherever the mood strikes me.

    Glad to hear that you are not planning on giving up your blog...So many do and then just fade off into the sunset, leaving the rest of us to wonder what happened to them...I find that some of my more personal posts are the ones that are the most viewed....Thanks for sharing your thoughts!!

    Same here, I don't blog as much as I used to but still blog a couple times a week. I don't want to lose touch with my blog friends and it is my journal! Enjoy your day dear friend, HUGS!

 As I was looking through my posts today, I see that I have failed my readers. Many of you were aware that my other daughter was pregnant and going to deliver in July, I am sure those of you that knew are wondering why I never posted about that and I must say that life has just gotten in the way, and I thought that I had written a post. Since I know I did not, I will now! He came when Mamaw was out of town! Can you believe that? He actually had the nerve to do something so ridiculous as to come while I was at the Pink Zebra reunion (our annual conference). I was with four of my best friends when we got the announcement that he was here! I was so happy that I was able to share that news with them before anyone else. Of course, the leaders of the company were there and anxious to hear how she was doing as well.  Deliver went fairly smooth, but she was in labor for quite a while. Something is Falling From The Sky

 Yesterday and today have been very cool days here on the farm and I must say that something that we don't recognize has been falling from the sky. It is wet and seems to be hanging around. IT is certainly what the ground needed as it seems to have soaked it up almost immediately. Rain, glorious rain!! The ducks are loving their pool and the rain, but I truly don't think that they are liking the cooler temperatures so much. I know I am not. I don't mind cool, but wearing my sweatshirt in June is not fun.  The white turkeys are enjoying the coop that my husband put together for them. We have 5 of them and two others. We won't be keeping all of the toms as we have too many.  Nesting boxes made of milk crates that we had lying around work well attached to the back wall.  Here is Tom. Happy Homemaker Monday - Jan. 15,2024

 Good Monday morning ladies, how are you? It is super cold here, but I am thankful for our wood stove and plenty of good heat. I am joining Sandra over at  Diary of a Stay At Home Mom  for the Happy Homemaker Monday link up party. She is so kind to host this weekly and there are many of us bloggers that enjoy this weekly post.  The Weather: Cold, snowy, below zero wind chills and temperatures of a night. I believe our high for the day is to be 7 degrees F. BRR!!!!!! I hate winter when it is like this. I don't mind cold, but I don't like Artic cold. I am not a fan of the ice that occurs when we have temperatures like this.  Right Now, I Am: Sitting at my desk drinking coffee. As I look out the window, I see a bit of snow and maybe a bit of a sunrise. It is about -18 degrees with the windchill and so it looks cold!
