Sunday Blessings - April 26,2026
The last Sunday of April- has spring simply flown by. It is hard to believe we are almost to the months where the temperatures will be way to hot, and the humidity will be ridiculous. Flowers will be everywhere and the bugs that come along with summer. Where are the days of showers in the dryness of summer?
Enjoy each day and what it brings and do not wish a single day by, because as you age time simply does not stand still. Be thankful for the day and all it brings because no matter how bad, someone has it worse. I attended a funeral of a dear friend this past week that was 59 years old and a member of my teen youth group. I am sure he had been planning what he would do when he retired, planning for grandbabies, along with many other things till cancer reared its' ugly head and took his life way too early. Another dear friend that I also spent many days with in youth group and still do now, is battling cancer as well. Whether treatment is working or not, we don't truly know, but I wonder what plans she has that she may never see or will God heal her and allow her many more days. One truly never knows.
Take this blessing for the day and remember to tell your loved ones just how special they are.
