Poem- Find A Rainbow

As I continue the piles of paperwork that my mom has managed to accumulate through the years, I am finding more of these poems that I like, but do not want to keep all the papers of, so they are going here so that I can see them often. Here is a new one.

FIND A RAINBOW

written by Mary Hamlett Goodman

It really does not mater
If the day is dark or bright.
I can always make it better
If my attitude is right.

Sometimes clouds obscure the sunshine
That's when faith comes shining through;
For I know there is a rainbow
Just beyond my point of view.

So I've learned to keep on trusting,
Even in the darkest day;
And I always find a rainbow
That can drive the clouds away.

I love rainbows as I see them as a promise from God. I see this poem as a reminder to not allow the gray skies of life, to make us focus on the bad in the day. There is always a bright spot somewhere in life, you just have to look through the clouds or problems, to find it!

Happy Tuesday!!
