A unique devotional written by Karen Kingsbury using the Baxter Family, a fictional family that she has written a series about, as a way to connect readers to the Bible study lesson of the day. As a huge fan of her writing and the Baxter's, I was thrilled to do this study and did learn a few lessons from the books.
Karen takes readers through a series of episodes of the Baxter's' television series that coincide with Bible lessons that she shares with her readers in this. There is a journal that you can purchase along with this that allows you to answer some questions as to your thoughts about the lesson she is sharing and the Bible verses that go with the lesson.
Well- written, biblically based, and a story within a devotional, you can relate to just how real this family is to Karen and her readers. I highly suggest that everyone use this devotional if you are looking for a unique Bible study.
