Trip Of A LifeTime

The last time we talked, I was headed to our Pink Zebra reunion and I must say it was a fabulous experience. We learned a lot, had some fun and enjoyed some fine speakers. I actually got to meet Kelly Gaines, one of the founders of the company and she was a delight. The most exciting part of the entire reunion was learning where our incentive trip is going to be. It is Limerick, Ireland!!

Ireland has been on my bucket list of places to visit for so long now and I must say that I am absolutely thrilled with this choice!! It is the trip of a lifetime and can be completely paid for by the company if I work hard and dedicate my time to this business. Many of you are well aware that my plate is usually full with chores here and the grand doll as well as working as a home health aide and the other multiple tasks that I have in a day. However, I plan to do all I can to earn this trip!! I am looking into vendor events and other ways to sell products and make new contacts. I am so excited!! I literally cried when I seen where I could go!!

The even better part of the trip is that we are actually staying at Adare Manor, which is a castle!!! Where else does a Sprinkle Queen deserve to be but a castle?? I plan to make sure my daughter earns her trip as well so that we can share this experience together! Pink Zebra truly is one of the best in the world to work for! They truly spoil us as representatives and make life as wonderful for us as possible.

 As I was looking through my posts today, I see that I have failed my readers. Many of you were aware that my other daughter was pregnant and going to deliver in July, I am sure those of you that knew are wondering why I never posted about that and I must say that life has just gotten in the way, and I thought that I had written a post. Since I know I did not, I will now! He came when Mamaw was out of town! Can you believe that? He actually had the nerve to do something so ridiculous as to come while I was at the Pink Zebra reunion (our annual conference). I was with four of my best friends when we got the announcement that he was here! I was so happy that I was able to share that news with them before anyone else. Of course, the leaders of the company were there and anxious to hear how she was doing as well.  Deliver went fairly smooth, but she was in labor for quite a while. Something is Falling From The Sky

 Yesterday and today have been very cool days here on the farm and I must say that something that we don't recognize has been falling from the sky. It is wet and seems to be hanging around. IT is certainly what the ground needed as it seems to have soaked it up almost immediately. Rain, glorious rain!! The ducks are loving their pool and the rain, but I truly don't think that they are liking the cooler temperatures so much. I know I am not. I don't mind cool, but wearing my sweatshirt in June is not fun.  The white turkeys are enjoying the coop that my husband put together for them. We have 5 of them and two others. We won't be keeping all of the toms as we have too many.  Nesting boxes made of milk crates that we had lying around work well attached to the back wall.  Here is Tom. Happy Homemaker Monday - Jan. 15,2024

 Good Monday morning ladies, how are you? It is super cold here, but I am thankful for our wood stove and plenty of good heat. I am joining Sandra over at  Diary of a Stay At Home Mom  for the Happy Homemaker Monday link up party. She is so kind to host this weekly and there are many of us bloggers that enjoy this weekly post.  The Weather: Cold, snowy, below zero wind chills and temperatures of a night. I believe our high for the day is to be 7 degrees F. BRR!!!!!! I hate winter when it is like this. I don't mind cold, but I don't like Artic cold. I am not a fan of the ice that occurs when we have temperatures like this.  Right Now, I Am: Sitting at my desk drinking coffee. As I look out the window, I see a bit of snow and maybe a bit of a sunrise. It is about -18 degrees with the windchill and so it looks cold!
